"The eagle has landed, again"

Post by OptionQB »

Chris Kingston tweets this message out along with a pic of Coach Huger and Hamir Andrews meeting at Jamir's school in Wyoming.

Gotta feel good about our leadership!

If he can keep all three I'd love it. We'd be atleast the average in the league.

G- Joseph (Sr) Austin (Sr) Hluchoweckyj (Fr)
G- Denny (So/Jr) Tisdale (Jr)
G- Andrews (Jr)
F- Parker (Sr) Dickerson (Sr) Friday (Fr)
F- Worrell (Fr) Gomez (Sr) Mayleben (So)

Still one "official" spot to fill . . . potentially a few more (like any other year at MOST places) . . .

I think this group favors an up-tempo line-up and I like the interchangable depth we have at the 3 and 4 positions. Lots of guys who can give different looks and provide many things. Gomez came on at the end of the year and could be a valuable 10-15 min/ night guy who gives us 6 and 6 or 8 and 6 nightly. That would be terrific. The one area screaming to me is the need for a knock down shooter. I don't know that we can find one at the this stage in the game, but that seems to be a missing component

Denny. Andrews and Friday can all shoot. Friday was over 40% from behind the arc. I can't remember what Andrews was but it was stleast in the mid thirties and Denny is a lights out shooter. Shooting comes so much from legs that I assume he will be even better in 2015. I also assume he will get his freshman year back. That would be lame if that didn't get appealed and go thru. You can't fault a kid for trying to play.

The new coach of the school you just went to flee to North Dakota to keep you. You have to go to that school.

Made sense to me.....
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Flip,

If "flee" means " flew" then it might make sense, except that Sheridan College is in WYOMING, not N. Dakota, unless my geographic knowlege isn't accurate... Hence the Huh question. :-k
