I definitely agree holding the ball outside and thinking about the next pass was an issue. We also had a few quick passes that found nobody where expected - unless they thought the guy in the white shirt in the Frack front row seats was puttting one up. Passing and receiving were the biggest issues - imo EMU caused it.

The offense I saw attempted unsuccessfully was cutting Denny or Frye to high lane and looking for some hi-lo action. I think they were attempting to clear the lane with the hi-lo and kick outs but poor passing and good defense spoiled it. Inside rarely did anyone go to basket before 3 defenders were in position except a couple backside cuts for dunks
I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.

Eastern is good. However, that wasn't even a full EMU roster as Lee didn't play. He torched BG 2 years ago in Cleveland. Maybe Eastern is the best team in the MAC (I highly doubt that). Good teams and coaches don't have games like that at home. Orr had lots of these. Big win, gain momentum, total dud. I understand it takes time to rebuild. BG is in like year 15. That's 25 in Louis Orr years. But, part of the rebuild is stacking up wins, gaining momentum, and yes winning at home. This season has to show significant progress.
