I'm really looking forward to the season. The home games with Akron and Kent State will be huge.
I'm a little disappointed that we won't host Toledo, but oh well.

I can't believe there are still years when the men and/or women do not play ut twice. Even if it isn't a MAC game, play a non conf game. stupid not to...

This is a great point. In fact i am not sure why we don't have more long term drivable every year opponents. Oakland, Detroit, Cleveland St, IUPUI, IUPUFW, Wright State. Western Kentucky would make a of name recognition fun sense. The Battle of BG every year.

Agreed. Plus, a non-conf game with UT would surely bring in bigger crowds (at either arena) than a home game against Grand Canyon State or whoever. People love this rivalry. It's a great idea.

Attended more games than any responsible student should have.

Ugh...seriously? (I got my season tickets, but I haven't really looked at the schedule much).

I don't know if I can stomach watching us against that EMU zone twice...

Who in the MAC do you really want to see anyway? When I go to games, I focus only on BG, unless the MAC opponent is exceptional.

Yeah same here. Unless there is an exceptional talent somewhere. Keene was fun to watch but he bailed early. Not sure who, if anybody else, would qualify.

I was more lamenting the fact that we struggled mightily against emu last year. They played all zone and were long/athletic. They weren't good but made us look stupid.

Hopefully we'll improve that this year.
