Plowden and Cummings are freshman so they will learn not to force a 3 pt shot, basically killing a run we had going. However, no excuse for Wiggins to miss THREE 3 ft shots, all within the restricted arc. Take the ball and slam it!!!!!

Overall a great trip. Caldwell showed me way more than I thought he could. I thought we were seeing his ceiling take shape as a capable starting point guard but now we are seeing a potential star.

I’ve been saying this for three seasons now. His biggest weakness is his aggressiveness/toughness.

Winning three games in three days is tough. But if we ever have hopes of breaking the 1968 NCAA Tournament drought and winning the MAC Tournament for the first time, we’re going to have to do it. It’s the ONLY way we’re ever going to win our first ever MAC Tournament and get back to the Big Dance. I think playing in an event like this every year is critical to show our teams each year what kind of effort it’s going to take to accomplish that feat.
