Carbon copy of the SJSU game with slightly bigger lead swings. Start out 21-2, extend to a 23 point lead followed by an NSU run to end the half. Lose the lead (tie) then gradually pull away partly by making free throws.
Question: When a player is suspended, does he still practice with the team? If not, maybe Lillard is a little rusty although this would have been a good game to get his feet wet.

This suspension was issued by Huger so I assume he can practice. Huger could also rescind or extend the suspension at any time. I believe if it's a suspension issued by the conference then he isn't allowed to participate in any team activities.

If I were the coach and suspended a player, I wouldn’t have them do anything at practice except play scout team. You need your players that are actually playing to practice together.

I would also assume he would count the exhibition game because it wasn't an exhibition game for us.gmartin wrote:This suspension was issued by Huger so I assume he can practice. Has there been any further info on why Lillard didn't play at NSU? I know per the BGMBB and Lillard's twitter that he was ready to go, so I'm curious if Huger or anyone else has commented on it.

No comment whatsoever. I listened to the broadcast and nothing was mentioned and nothing mentioned after the game. We will need him against Evansville. That will be our toughest game.

Perhaps being available and not being quite out of the dog house are different things. He may still need to earn his way back onto the floor.

I bet you're right, it looks like Evansville is pretty good. I hope we see him out there.

The entire program is veiled in secrecy....gmartin wrote:No comment whatsoever. I listened to the broadcast and nothing was mentioned and nothing mentioned after the game. We will need him against Evansville. That will be our toughest game.

Did Turner get hurt? I don't believe he played the last 10 minutes or so.
