Can someone please clear up who actually broke the backboard? One paper says Almanson, another paper says Soler. One radio station said this, another one said that......???

Mawel broke it in warmups (I originally thought it was Wright). Josh "broke" the repaired setup during the game on his second dunk when one of the support cables popped free. But the shattering dunk in pregame was caused by Mawel.

Thanks Grant. As for the rest of the replies, thanks for the straight answers – I thought it was James Cerisier myself. :duh:

Dead on Grant - I looked at it again at home disregard this.

I have it on my DVR at home - FSN showed a quick blip on it. It looked like Almonson. I know for a fact it was him grabbing his head under the board as it rained glass.

The broadcasters reported it as Josh.

I dont want to get into them cancelling the broadcast. Best thing about FSN is their customer service people hanging up on people wanting an explanation. This is the last time I drink hard the night before a planned 2 hr drive to AA for a televised game. Too easy to back out.

I'm surprised James C. never brought down a backboard. Him or Floyd Miller. Those two could DUNK!

You mean the local meter maid? LOL

Do they still make him drive around in that little car? So funny seeing a big dude in a tiny little car. I worked with him at the City before he applied for and got the meter reading job. As far as I know he's still working there, and obviously is in & around BG a lot.
