Speaking of transfers EMU is having a rough go of it, must be why they got Montero, they're gonna need him. Jeff Boals is also gonna have his work cut out for him at OU. EMU's top three scorers are graduating and they've lost two guys to transfers already, no one who played a big role on last year's team but there's going to be a lot of turnover. OU's top two scorers are transferring (Jason Carter, Tayivion Kirk) and their third leading scorer is graduating, along with another bench player leaving as well (Torey James).

Carter is heading to Xavier.

He plays for TNBA which is where SKR coaches. I can guarantee if he was good enough that SKR would be in Stacey's ear about him

UT didn't offer him back then, we did though. What a weird career for the kid. Verbaled to Xavier, goes to Iowa State, transfers to a JUCO, transfers to FGCU, now transfers to??? Maybe New Mexico State. Jans was the coach when we offered him.

If I remember correctly he was highly recruited and then tore up his knee before college.

He can certainly shoot. Looks decent at everything. Solid contributor at the 3. Solid handles, very good size, played on a great Juco team.
