They sent me the wrong tickets for basketball. I joined the Falcon Club to get the parking pass and then got tickets in section 103. What did I get in the mail? General Admission. The person I bought the tickets from at the window put the purchase on the wrong year somehow. Also, I got an email earlier this week about the menu in the Anderson Club. My tickets aren't in the Anderson Club but I thought, "Hey, maybe I get that because I'm now in the Falcon Club." I called to verify and, yeah, I should not have gotten that email.
Simply put, I love BGSU, but I sure wish they would train the people over there better. I'm fairly certain most of their staff are students and that explains the mix-ups.

ROLL ALONG!!!
Re: Wanna buy a parking pass?
I understand the rare mix up or mistake if you are staffed with students...but the mistakes happen way to often. Imagine if there was actually a demand for tickets. We barely draw for any of the sports except for the occasional big game and the season ticket base isn’t much for any of the sports. Shouldn’t be that difficult to meet the demand with organized and competent service.footballguy51 wrote:

Re: Wanna buy a parking pass?
Hate to pile on but this is the biggest issue for BGSU Athletics to fix:
1. Register for the season ticket party. Get an 2nd email to tell me to register, thought it's a mistake. A couple days later I get a phone message to register for it so I figure I better call back. When I call they say no big deal but seem put off when I express concern that maybe the online registration didn't take so I make them check to make sure I won't be wasting a trip Sunday. The registration was taken but this reeks of disorganization.
2. My father's tickets were sitting in the ticket office Wednesday night after being ordered weeks ago. He didn't know he needed to pick them up, he assumed they would be sent as usual.
3. A couple seated near me buy men's and women's tickets but did not get both parking passes. The ticket office advised them to look in their envelope again before rectifying the situation. They felt insulted that the ticket office thought they weren't bright enough to look through their envelope.
4. A gentleman I converse with regularly also gets both basketball tickets. He got both parking passes but they left one set of tickets out.

I don’t think the department realizes that the TICKET OFFICE is the the “first” and “lasting” impression that most people have of the athletic department.
There needs to be a LOT more training and supervision if part time employees (students) are face to face with the public at the windows AND answering the phone.

When you work in athletics your whole life and never buy tickets to events it might not be as obvious as it is to us. Regardless someone should always be evaluating and improving the fan experience.

Re: Wanna buy a parking pass?
Ticket office is a constant s**t show and has been for the years I have been buying hockey tickets. I have repeatedly asked to pick my tickets up rather than have them mailed. 3 of the last 5 years they have mailed them. Paying for my season tickets this year took almost 45 minutes and then they acted like I was a jackass for nicely asking for a receipt. Sorry, if you act totally incompetent and take forever to do something relatively simple - I want a receipt for my 500 dollar purchase so I have proof that they are paid for.
Re: Wanna buy a parking pass?
I was genuinely hoping you were selling one, because I had the same issue trying to buy one at the Findlay game. The only positive is that I didn't have to waste 15-20 minutes trying to buy one with my season ticket like last year when the student worker kept telling me I wasn't allowed to buy a parking pass. She decided to get her manager to help her since she was convinced I was a student even though I had a season ticket. She never asked just assumed. I'll most likely park at a nearby lot or pay the 5 dollars since there's only 14 home games besides the school day game
