It’s safe to say no group of kids that lose a game like that will ever accomplish anything worth watching on a basketball court.

Just wow. Hopefully lots of kids quit after this game. Hopefully fans boo them for that humiliating fu**ing effort. They just humiliated the university.

Again, in the entire history of college basketball no team has ever blown a lead that huge to a team that pathetic in a short of time period as was left.

Never. Not once. Thousands upon thousands of games.

His posts are beyond childish. This was an awful loss, and with Turner out we had to know at least one of these was coming. I'd like to think this team is capable of playing at a higher level without him, but I do not believe that's true. I just keep hoping he'll be back and healthy for the MAC season.

By chance, was the Toledo game the one where BG had the ball with a 1 point lead and about 10 seconds to go...and a Toledo player tried to swipe the ball, hit the BG player (I think it was Jeff Montgomery) in the eye and when he instinctively put his hands to his eyes, the UT player took the ball and made a layup for the win. No foul was called, of course. I'm sure there probably have been other painful losses since then, but that was the one that came to mind.

It actually sounds like he is a former player that left the team. Probably isn’t, but that’s the only way I can rationalize that type of negativity.

This was terrible loss. I had to look at the score twice when I saw it going into OT. I don’t think Norfolk Statet had beaten a D-I team all season and even lost to a non D-I team this year, and I believe had lost 8 in a row coming into this one. Losing a game like this basically cancels out a win over Cincinnati, you go from one end of the spectrum to the other. It’s a wash. I’d put it right up there with the loss to Ferris State a few years ago. I know we’re still without our best player in Justin Turner, and with each passing week and no update as to how he’s progressing or if he’s even close to practicing again, it makes me wonder if he’ll even be back. We without a doubt need him to have a chance at the MAC Tournament as we’ve desperately needed a reliable scorer and have snuck past a team or two without him but it finallly nipped us in the backside here. Still, even without him, this loss was disheartening because this was a team we 100% should have won and blew a double digit lead with just over 3:00 to go. It’s only one loss, and it wasn’t a MAC game, but this was a troubling one. It’s a role we haven’t found ourselves in many times over the years, but it often seems like a loss like this happens that needs to send a message as to what an happen if you don’t play well or put a team away. Hopefully that’s the silver lining in this one for BG as there’s nothing else positive to take away from this one.
