Nope. Western losing to Ball State screwed us in every way. The Toledo won to get the Western div first round bye sending Western into the pool of 11-7 teams. That gave us an extra two losses in that group. I don't want to go through the specifics, but I think we probably wouldn't have done better than the five seed. But then again, anything higher would have gotten us one of the four bottom feeders instead of BSU. Of course we just lost to a bottom feeder so who knows what could happen.
The worst part to me, Warthog, was everyone at Anderson cheering when they were announcing the scoore. I couldn't figure out if I was missing something or what. But no, it just appeared that many people didn't know what we wanted to root for. Ball State winning that game really sucked for us.
Well, if we would have won, we would have tied for the West division title, as if that would have meant anything. To me, it is all about the seeding. But it was mostly rendered irrelevant when we urinated down our leg Saturday.
