BG shot 40 free throws, Ohio shot 10. There's your win right there. That's an almost unbelievable edge on the road.

Great win. Rough start, but this team battled.

2-0 in the MAC. Let's make it 3-0 on Saturday.

I could not even check stats until 12:27 left in the 2nd. And then not again until it was over.

We ere down 10 at the half, and outscored them by 22 in the 2nd.

Anybody know what we did differently?

Anybody know what in the world happened to Fields today? He's been a consistent bright spot, and today, nothing.

Huge win. It's on the road and against one of the (expected to be) primary contenders. And man, I can't remember the last time I heard of a game where a team made 95 percent of its free throws and went to the line 40 times. That's pretty much unheard of, especially these days. I won't be surprised if that's a record of some kind.

85-73 final score ! If one only read posts from some of you, one would think BG is in for a slaughter. Can understand an update, along with factual details, but the fatalistic comments sure had me fooled. When I looked up the play by plat on OU site, Falcons were up 76-72, stretched it out with some defense, rebounding and FT shooting.
And the sarcasm shown by one poster re: adding costs to student fees is out of line in my opinion.

Now scores are showing 83-75! Crazy as I followed the OU play by play , showed BG UP 76-72, then indicated a 85-73 final. Is someone dyslexic? Don’t think it was me.

Somewhere in the live stats they credited a pair of OU free throws to Trey Diggs. Now the state show 36-38 free throws (still ok, I guess, haha) and Diggs with only 20.

As for fields, I dont see minutes posted yet but with only 3 rebounds and 1 assist and 0 fouls it would seem he didnt play much. Hopefully it's not injury related.

Following the play by play it also appeared that Fulcher played a lot down the stretch again and Swingle played a lot of the 2nd half even with 4 fouls.

Maybe reading into nothing but I noticed Ziegler didn’t play today and it doesn’t look like he is in the post-game photo on the BG MBB Twitter. Anyone know anything?

He he. This board is full of Drain-O guzzlers. It's a lot like being around Browns fans. We need a trip to the dance to fix that.

I don't know anything, but keep in mind this is a weird season. The explanation could be as simple as one of his family members at Christmas dinner ended up testing positive so now he's being held back for close contact.

In this particular year (moreso than others at least) I don't think we can draw any real conclusions from conspicuous absences. And I wouldn't expect the coaches to address it either as it's a medical situation.

Well, his playing time was pretty limited. He got passed in the pecking order by 2 freshmen because he didn't really get any better. Would not be surprised if he transfers.

Disappointed though. Seems like a good kid, excellent defender, great athlete with all kinds of promise.

Whatever is going on, hope he's happy with it and it all turns out well for him.
