I'm glad I was there to see John, Cory and Josh close it out at home on a high note. We'll be talking about what John did tonight for a long time and we should be. That was a fantastic effort. I hope the guys coming back next year were paying attention because John just showed them how a senior leader reacts to a challenge.

I'm a little disturbed by how we handled the start of the second half. You know BSU was going to come out and push it to start the second half. The first 5-10 minutes of the half were going to be thier season. Stop them from making a run those first few minutes and it's an early night. We didn't come out like we understood that fact. We haven't come out like that too many times this year. It's a flaw we can't seem to deal with and I'm tired of talking about it I moved past anger, now I'm into acceptance.

Right now, the thought of going into next year with Wright as our first option offensively is a little scary. I guess I'll start worrying about that in October.

pardon is my second favorite player I've ever seen here because he played the game the way it should be played. John Floyd would have to improve by about 100% every year to be even close to pardon his senior year. If he does...hey great. But he'll never be Pardon.

Couldn't say it better. To mention them in the same sentence is disrespectful to my memories of BP. Honestly about the only thing I can think of them having in common is they both came in as transfers to play the point.

I think Opie's best suited to coming off the bench as the third guard. I don't like Wrght as a PG at all. That leaves Moon as the starter next year or we find another PG.

The idea of putting Vandermeer and Lefeld out there with Opie, Moon and Wright is a bit intriguing. It's not a line up you want to play often, but I could see Vandermeer playing in the high post and Lefeld down low.
It'd give Moon a lot of beef to hide behind if nothing else.

Now he's an absolutely horrendous defender who makes some of the dumbest plays at PG. Now the guy has begun even flopping on the offensive side of the floor...don't try explaining that to me.

John Floyd and Brandon Pardon should never be mentioned in the same breath. Brandon had quick feet, great ball skills, and saw the floor better than anyone I've seen in a BG uni in quite some time.

My cousin has better ball handling ability than Floyd and she's in 8th grade. Don't believe me go check out BG's 8th grade girls team, I'm not kidding.
I was waiting for the hammb response to John Floyd being out 2nd option...

I think coach and Steve both know he needs to work on his shooting and it will be taken care of in the off-season. Like the 2nd half of what you said, lets focus on what we have left this year!!!

From what I recall of the game I saw at AA in November, a quarter pounder with or without cheese has enough beef for Moon to hide behind... :D

It was an exciting game. Falcon fans should keep it in perspective. Yes, this team worked hard to make the Gund, and they deserve credit. Yes, many of us thought they would win single digits, and they now have 18 wins and that's a good year. Its also true that tonight we barely beat a team on our floor that played all of the game without their second best scorer and most of the game without their #1 scorer. And they still had a chance to tie it at the end..
But we also beat what I believe was a fully healthy Miami team just a week ago. There is a bit more perspective into just how streaky and frustrating this team is.
