If we beat Miami, and then lose in the semifinals, do you think we can get an NIT bid? Of course, I would like to see BG go dancing as much as anybody else, but it would be nice just to be in the post-season.
What do you think?
With a Win against Miami...

I disagree, remember the NIT has expanded to 40 teams. With the MAC's conference RPI as high as it is this season, I could realistically see every MAC team over .500 not in the NCAA playing in it. (With maybe the exception of Ball State at 15-13, with alot of their offensive production now injured, depending on how serious Stovall is hurt.) It was my feeling that we had at least the NIT locked up after UALR. But hey, I've been wrong before. As of now though, any NIT game we would play would be on the road, and winning as much as we can in the MAC TMT will only increase our slight chances of getting a home game.

A home game!!!! No way BG will get a home game. A few years ago when they were 24-6 and were in the NIT they had to go to BYU and play. BG will never get a home NIT bid because NIT is about $$$$$ and well simply put 2000 fans will not make enough money for them

True true seventy-two. .. and that 2,000 is pretty liberal because students would have to PAY to go to an NIT game at Anderson Arena.bgsufan1972 wrote:A home game!!!! No way BG will get a home game.
