Richaun Holmes

Post by OSUFALCON »

Nice quotes, "I've been so impressed with Richaun since we got him," Kings coach Luke Walton said. "He fought and earned a starting spot and he's never given it back. ... When our team's having success, he's usually a pretty big part of that."

Walton said Holmes' performance was "inspiring."

"It's screening, running, blocking shots, occasional bank-shot 3s from the top of the key," he said. "To see him get rewarded for that is a lot of fun for a coach."

Kings beat the Celtics 107-96

He has the work ethic in his career every parent wishes they could instill in a kid. BG Hall of Fame, in my opinion, for what he became here and how he has taken it to the next level.
I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.

Watched Mr Holmes vs Cavs last nite. Called called for goaltend in last 1.6 sec. to give Cavs a lead. But got bailed out on 3 pt shot at buzzer.
Don’t think he ever left floor in 2nd half while I watched. Did usual good job... double figure scoring , rebounded well.
Education our Challenge, Excellence our goal. (look it up)

4 years, $55 million. Seems like he gave a little hometown discount because he and his family love Sacramento so much. It was reported he was seeking 4 yr/$80 million and would likely get closer to $70 million.
BG '10

Attended more games than any responsible student should have.

Awesome for Richaun. He was a great falcon. Was super cool getting to meet him and get autographs 2 years ago too.

Really hope he still feels connected enough to our program to send some cash back our way some day. If he added some money to Frack's endowment we would truly be in a league of our own in the MAC basketball funding.

I don't think the PF market ever materialized, he was near the top

Imagine what he could have done at BG with a decent coach. That 2012 team should have easily won MAC.

His offensive game was pretty nonexistent when he was here. Could have been a mac all timer if he had developed that side of his game.

Market seemed surprisingly soft for some of the second tier bigs...Kelly Olynyk is a decent rebounder and hits 35% of his 3's...he signed with Detroit for 37mil over three years, the third year is a club option. That seems kinda low for a dependable stretch big
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
