The path to Cleveland
Re: The path to Cleveland
Acutally BG screwed themselves by losing to Central Michigan. Central could play all the remaining Covid games, lose all the Covid games, and still have the tie-breaker by beating BG. Even a decent coach would have had this team ahead of Ball St. and in this 6th sport where it was picked preseason.

Does anyone have an updated path?
Is it as simple as a BG win at Toledo and a CMU loss at Akron?

That is the simplest option. I have no idea what the tie-breaker scenario would be with Miami since we split the series with them. If we win and MU loses, then we have a better overall record but equal MAC record.Falcon Fryed wrote: ↑Wed Mar 02, 2022 2:04 pm Does anyone have an updated path?

If we lost to UT, we're out. If we win at UT, then we need some help from CMU losing or some magical tie-breaker scenario with Miami.
ROLL ALONG!!!
Re: The path to Cleveland
Correct. We need a win AND either CMU or Miami to lose. If tied with Miami, we win the tiebreaker unless OU loses to NIU AND Buffalo beats Kent.
LONG LIVE THE MONGOOSE!!

there were several games we should have won this year. We should not be at this spot. Boys will play hard at Toledo, if we shoot like we did tuesday we might have a shot at a win.
