The fading coloring of the key reminds me of the Houston Astros old unis. Not good. :-\Dayons_Den wrote:
I think the fade orange and brown would give us a more modern feel and I also miss the Paint... being... paint.

I like the Design Dayons, and I must say that the fading color keys is my absolute favorite part of the thingWarthog wrote:The fading coloring of the key reminds me of the Houston Astros old unis. Not good. :-\Dayons_Den wrote:

Drew- nice - I like that a lot. Couple things though, get rid of the extra orange in the paint- make it wood colored like Boise. Enlarge the center court word mark a bit- just so its bigger. Also, flip the direction of "Anderson Arena" back when we had "Bowling Green" on the court (early 90s) they actually had to flip it around because they realized that on t.v. it was upside down. I think the trend these days is to have everything face the way of the t.v. cameras.
Sharp design though!!

I modified the design just a little bit:

For those who like the new logo:

I'll post my crappy little template if anyone would like it. I won't give anyone the falcon heads or anything, but I can tell you that the best way to grab them is to download the PDF file they released earlier this year with the new logo in it and use the snapshot tool.

Its not likely.....
Anything like that would ever get done here at least while DD is here as coach. DD is old school and designs like this and Boise St's are new school and DD won't have any of it.

I'm 22 and must be old school too. Why would I want to be a copycat and due exactly what Boise State did? I agree that our court is bland but this new design would look out of place at Anderson.
That may be, but how long are going to do things the "old school" way? I appreciate all that Dakich has done for the program, but think of how many times BG had a TV broadcast. Now think of how many times the Atlantic-10 got in with it's deal with FSN. Sports are now about marketing and how nice you look on TV. Football fans LOVE BG because we're an exciting type of football to watch. If you got something pretty enough to look at, you can get some good viewership.
