what I found interesting is that apparently some UT fans think the Blade is pro-bg, and anti-ut. Honestly, I think the Blade gives almost the same amount of, what I guess you could call, exposure for each school. It appears to me that those UT fans don't want their own newspaper to say anything good about BG. But then, again, I could be all wrong about this, but that's what these forums are all about!!

The Rocket mantra about the Blade being anti-UT is more a function of their own paranoia.
They moved BG's beat writer, Matt Markey, over to the UT beat after they cried about Mussleman's straight-forward reporting. If they don't get every big headline and/or every story doesn't proclaim the greatness of Hamstutz or Joplin, they fire off letters and emails.
