The only defense I have to the schedule is that they challenged themselves in those two exhibition games. Both were played to win, and were very competitive for 70 of the 80 minutes on the road. Combine that effort with the 3-0, and I think this team has the ability to be the best in a long while. The problem is Akron could be better than last year. Miami is really good too. The metrics never had any of the Huger teams being even close to top 3 in the MAC after Justin Turner made game winner after game winner. This team is the best so far by the metrics. Just get to MAC play healthy at this point.

This is fair. I tend to forget about the exhibitions but we did challenge ourselves against legit teams in that capacity.

You're also correct that there are some talented teams in the MAC this year. It's not going to be easy for anyone to win this conference.
