@ Western Michigan (1/20)

Post by mbenecke »

On Tuesday, January 20th, our Falcons (12-6, 3-3 MAC) will be in Kalamazoo, MI to take on the Western Michigan Broncos (7-11 overall, 1-5 MAC) in the first road trip of two this week. With the Toledo game on Saturday, it's important that this team stays focused on the opponent in front of them without looking ahead.

The game will begin at 7:00pm and stream on ESPN+.

Go Falcons!

Super sloppy half. Luckily western isn't good and we're up 9 still. Unlike last game where we shooting our way to a lead this game were just better and have a good chance to extend the lead in the second half. No justin Thomas minutes at half. The bench is shackelford and a Karel minute

BG is up 17 with 14 minutes to go. Playing well in the second half.

Taking care of business in K'zoo.

I kinda hope Simon buys some minutes and just plays the back of the bench the final 4:00. We're leaning HEAVILY on these guys.

A good old fashioned road ass kicking. What a nice win! Good to see Towns super aggressive and back on track.

It's really fun to hear opposing commentators gush about our team, and best player. They're in awe of Campbell's game.

Great that we got Campbell to stay. I know it took 6 figures but he reminds me of old school basketball player.

Maybe if that 3 point percentage stays down far enough they could find a way for another year

In control the whole second half and finally got to relax again down the stretch. Whatever Campbell is getting paid it's not enough because he's got a shot at mac player of the year

Win at toledo and we're rolling

Even with some of the sloppiness we see (and defensive lapses), this may be the most talented BGSU team we've seen since Jim Larranaga was walking the sidelines. If they can stay focused and keep winning against teams they should beat -- they will have some serious momentum heading into the MAC tournament.
