Falcons (16-11, 7-7 MAC) head down to Oxford next to take on undefeated #22 Miami (26-0, 13-0 MAC) on a short week of prep. Game is Friday night at 8:30pm on CBSSN.

Re: @ Miami (2/20)
Only because I would love for the MAC to be a two-bid league for once, I am almost hoping Miami goes undefeated until losing to BG in the conference final. (Hey, one can dream, right?)

Yeah, I get it. I'm a fan of the MAC almost as much as I'm a fan of BG. One team's success helps the whole conference.

I predict Miami to be favored by 11.5 pts.

It would be so nice to be as good as the computers think we are.
Re: @ Miami (2/20)
Textbook bg basketball. Keep it close for awhile with some energy but then can't pass, can't shoot, can't score.
Get a few stops but when you score 3 points in 8 mins of game time you're gonna get run outta the gym
This teams incompetence at running/executing any half court offense is a mind numbing

Re: @ Miami (2/20)
Hard to watch. Fouling a shooter near half court. Not being able to make a bucket within 5 feet and half court offense just running around.
Re: @ Miami (2/20)
Just not a very good basketball team. Painfully mediocre, as always.

Re: @ Miami (2/20)
I think it's pretty much official. Simon can't coach at all.
Recruit, sure. Get them ready to play hard? Maybe.
But zero plan on offense. Nothing off sets. Nothing when they need a bucket. Let's the team get boat raced time and again with his best shooters on the bench.
Zero ability to recognize the best shooters on the roster and to run plays to get them looks.
Hey Campbell go fix everything and if he doesn't it's a fail

Re: @ Miami (2/20)
We have only 2 guys on the team that shoot over 35% from 3 (which is pathetic on its own) and they combine to play less mins in the half than Thomas who averages like 5 ppg...smh
Towns and Campbell never left the floor.
You can't win this way

Miami is really good and fun to watch!
Re: @ Miami (2/20)
Well this one is over.
2nd half we at least did some things. Played Wol and ruffin. Ran Shacklford off some screens for open looks. Stopped switching ourselves into ridiculous matchups
But Miami is really freaking good. Their shooting and movement make you guard an NBA sized court and when one guy hits a shot they all start raining down.

Re: @ Miami (2/20)
Much to the enjoyment of the announcers we just can't keep up with Miami's shooting. Miami is exactly how you want to build a modern college offense and it's crazy to think they lost a double digit scorer during the season
Re: @ Miami (2/20)
They consistently have 3-5 legit shooters on the floor and they move the ball, screen to get guys open, they hit shots.
They stretch the field to an NBA arc too, which helps tremendously.
They're a fantastic basketball team
