The MAC Tournament....where BG goes to die - Take 46!!!

Yep! It’s that time of the year again. The MAC Tournament – where BGSUCKS goes to DIE! (Fact, not an opinion). BG is the only.....ONLY.....yes, really – the ONLY – school to never, ever win the MAC Tournament. And save the UMass reference BG fans, the haven’t even played in it yet. This is the 46th year of the event (started in 1980) and it continues to be an insurmountable obstacle for the BG program. No matter the players, coaches, seeds or opponents, one thing is a guarantee - BG won't win it! While the much, much, much superior programs like OHIO (7), Kent State (7), Ball State (7) and Akron (6) lead the way, other schools like Miami (4), Buffalo (4) and EMU (4) at least average a title every decade or so. CMU (2) and WMU (2) have both won a pair while Toledo (1) and NIU (1) at least avoid the embarrassment BG holds to itself. Hell, Covid-19 even hold a title over BG. It’s just pitiful…..That said, on the bright side, BG’s inability to win the MAC Tournament protects its ever-important 58-year-long NCAA Tournament drought, keeping it alive and well! BG fans would hate to ever forget that glorious year of 1968! So sit back, relax, and enjoy another exit from the MAC Tournament fans – because it’s coming – AGAIN!

And there it is - yet ANOTHER exit in the MAC Tournament for BGSUCKS. The reality of the matter is - no one will see BG win the MAC Tournament in their lifetime. No one has ever seen BG win a MAC Tournament because, well, BG is the ONLY program in the MAC to NEVER win one. And let's face it, BG just isn't going to.
