Re: bbs
haven't we been at home the last 2 years for that? I know we were this year vs. UALR, how does that scheduling work? Would we be in the "road pool" this time?jerzyboy247 wrote:who do you think we will host for bracket buster saturday?

We will play Arkansas-Little Rock at their place during the bracket buster. These are 2 year contracts.
Check out our new BGSU hockey site: http://www.bgsuhockey.com
They're two year contracts, but the backend isn't part of the bracket buster. We play UALR down there in early December (see the other thread announcing the schedule, or the link up top here). The pool of teams for the Bracket Buster weekend in February should be announced in the coming weeks, or maybe shortly after the season starts, so we'll know for sure if its home or on the road, but the actual opponent isn't known until much later in the season. Early February, I believe.BGDrew wrote:We will play Arkansas-Little Rock at their place during the bracket buster. These are 2 year contracts.

In fact, here's the release from last year's announcement, dated Feb. 8.

I think Bracket Buster Saterday is at home
According to http://bgsufalcons.collegesports.com/sp ... 05aac.html we will be hosting Bracket Buster Saturday. The report states "The Falcons begin MAC play on January 4 at home against Central Michigan and will play in the Bracket Buster Saturday on February 18 at home." The game against UAR-Little Rock is only a regular season game that has a home and home contract.

Ah, there ya have it. It's still a mystery for five or so months as to who we'll play, but a home game is great. (Unless they match us up with Butler or IUPUI, in which case I'll be petitioning for them to move it on the road.jerzyboy247 wrote:According to http://bgsufalcons.collegesports.com/sp ... 05aac.html we will be hosting Bracket Buster Saturday.
