Big man 6-8 from Mattawan. Skilled post player. Technically sound. Could really prosper if he can listen to Coach Dak and put aside any hurt feelings he might have of his intelligence being insulted. Great student from what I've heard. Watched him play 9-10 times. He looks mechanical but really he's just sound. Much more advanced than most players at his height and age from a basketball standpoint. Good get for BG. No doubt.

Prepspotlight.com has Larson at #14 in MI. They have him ranked ahead of the Tabet's (6-8 brothers). Also, only 3 players 6-7 or taller are ranked ahead of him in MI: #2 DeShawn Sims (6-7), #5 Tom Herzog (6-11), and #11 Wilber Ampley (6-7), who happens to be Larson's teammate.

WMU's verbal David Kool is #9, fwiw.

Yeah, but does he weigh 350 pounds? If he does, maybe we can talk him into playing football so we can see less of falconboy's....eh....er...."member envy" posts... :P

HAHA...he was listed at 220 on scout.com, so DL is unlikely in his future.

From the hoops standpoint we definitely need another talented big man...it'd be nice to get someone in the 6'10+ range though...with only LeFeld we are going to have no presence in the paint at all.

Losing Vandermeer is probably the biggest of the losses in the past few years, IMO...that kid looked like he would be, at the very least, a force at the defensive end.
