John Williamson

Post by fredthefalcon »

Got my latest update on Basketball Recruiting this week from Future Stars. This was a best of the rest (guys who haven't already signed) issue. The only one specifically mentioned as being wooed by BG was John Williamson a 6-7 220 lb power forward from Cincinnati State CC. He also has interest from OK, Iowa, Purdue, Xavier, Detroit, Ill. St., and Murray State. Kind of a broad brush. Williamson is described as a physical combo who can post up or step out and score off the dribble. I know others have mentioned Shane Ross from Lansing, MI who is listed as other PF to Watch with no other specifics. Now where we would fit a scholie in for these guys is a big guess, but with the past record of transfers it might not be a problem.

Preferably "Moon" Robinsons schollie. I'm sorry a 5'9 170lb guy that can't shoot and fouls alot is not valuable to me in my opinon.

Raheem Moss was very tough against Kent in the first half the other night.

I have to believe that Patrick Philips' scholarship is merely a temporary one since we had an extra. That one is definitely pullable whenever we find someone with talent willing to play here.

Yep....I think DD was throwing Phillips a bone for the hard work in practice.
