Caleb Bates 6-6 F from Michigan
Averaged 27.6ppg and 15rpg. 1st team all USA Today in Michigan. Turner was 2nd team BTW.
Only has 1 offer. I don't get it?

Unless there is something up grade or character wise, why not with an open scholarship?

Don't really know. Haven't hear much on Caleb Bates. Maybe overshadowed by another Bates, namely Emoni who is the best player in Michigan as a Frosh. BTW C. Bates was 2nd Team All State in the Free Press that includes a Dream Team and then 1st Team, etc. Turner was a first teamer.

Emoni Bates may be the best FR to come along in MI since....maybe....Magic

Chris Webber was consensus #1 overall out of his HS class and would’ve been the year before as well.

Maybe....but I'm thinking Bates could approach that level in years 2-4...plus...I'm pretty sure Bates can count

VJ King will not return to Louisville. 6-5/6-6 wing from Cleveland. Fell out of the rotation in Louisville. Immediately eligible and could help on the wing. Need more help on the block but may be worth a flyer to up the athleticism

VJ was once the top-rated player for his class in the country. Moved from North Carolina to Akron SVSM and finished his HS career in Virginia. He had offers from basically everyone out of high school, It's very surprising he never made a significant impact at Louisville. I don't know if we could touch him.

This guy is Transferring from Duquesne. From Chillicothe. Redshirted his first year and may have to sit out the next. Offers the size we want, doesn't seem overly athletic.

Dylan Swingle 6-11, 300
http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/dylan-swingle" target="_blank
Akron and WVU offered him the first time around.
Moves well for a big man. Not super athletic but doesn't look like a liability. Seems like a great personality fit for us.

I really liked this guy out of HS, I don't think he is as heavy anymore, I think a lot of the redshirt year was to get in shape. I can tell you we definitely have a shot at him.

We haven't been able to turn the page to the next year of recruiting this early since Huger was hired. This is awesome.

Who all do we have to replace after this coming season? Laster, Frye, and Sierra come to mind. Possible that Ethan Good graduating opens a scholarship?
