Some Juco guys from Ohio that might be worth a look.

Cincinnati St
Joshua Santos 6'8" 11.3ppg 7rpg

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M8goM1t5abg" target="_blank
Looks like a fairly limited athlete with size who could stretch the floor with a solid 3 point shot.

Brandon Trotter 6'7" 12.9ppg 6.6rpg

Athletic tall three from what I can tell from brief video.

We still have one scholarship to give and with school starting in 3 weeks I am fearful we won't be handing it out and will for some reason go shorthanded again. The argument that you don't want to be stuck with the wrong guy for 4 years if you sign someone doesn't hold water if we never use all 13 spots. Here are a handful of guys I think are worth a look.
Tervell Beck 6-6 Cleveland SF Offers from UNLV and Pitt

Our Connection: Little known Canadian combo guard,

I was curious about all these available players and so I read a couple of links. It appears one was suspended for 3 games last year and the other is looking to play at his FOURTH college in 6 years. I would guess not every program would be interested considering these nuggets on each. Might be great guys but just like a resume these bios might create concern for someone who feels they already have good chemistry in their lockerroom. Might be the answer to hole in the lineup but might be problems.
I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.

Very true. I think Scrivano has battled injuries although I agree Chemistry is very important.

In all scenarios listed as possible one year players etc etc, there must be mutual interest for that student-athlete to take that spot. Mutual. Many of these type of players will not look at BG for many reasons. And we for many obvious-and many times completely unobvious- reasons will not look at a student-athlete. The pool of such available players who fit in all ways at the right position for such a one (or two year) scenario is much smaller than a larger data base would indicate.

I am sure we all realize this; just pointing it out.

Go Falcons!

Believe me the staff sees all the data bases, talks to all the coaches, examines all the options and evaluates all the opportunities listed here and well beyond.

So if they don't take one, it is not because the don't look or examine. It is because the mutual fit was not there. Period.

It only takes the RIGHT one.

Go Falcons!

The idea that somehow the staff is entirely flawless and there isn't one player on earth to fill the last spot, two years in a row mind you, is overwhelmingly idealistic.

Globe, it doesn't make a ton of sense to me. Especially after that run of recruits BG brought in that all scored less than 10ppg in high school. I mean a group of coaches saw something in them, this entire board was like what are they doing. Not one of them made an impact. Many didn't even graduate. I mean I'm not spending my weekends watching AAU tournaments, but I could peg non factors at BGSU after the first layup in warmups. After Lou, I'll just never assume a coach is as good or connected as they are made out to be. That said, let's hope Huger continues to recruit players who do make an impact.

1) Beck has been listed as anywhere from 6-5 to 6-8.
2) I think with his athleticism and size he could play anywhere from the 2 to the 4.
3) Same High School as Antwon Lilllard. I will assume they are boys
4) Rumored to be going Prep route....http://yappi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=291066" target="_blank
