We are in on a pg that looks like he produces a bunch of assists but not much else.

Interesting. He had 8 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists against us back in December.

I wouldn't mind having a true backup PG on the roster. After losing Zeigler at the beginning of MAC play, we saw what not having that depth did to our team.

Myron Gordon (6'3 guard from Samford) is transferring in to use his final season of eligibility here.

He averaged 15.6 points per game last season on 46.6% from the field and 31.6% from beyond the arc and 75% from the free throw line, while also adding 3.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists each game.

Color me unimpressed.

A 6-3 guard who can score some. Not a great outside shooter.

Offers little else to the offense.

So, about 60% of Juice.

Woo.

Better than nothing., But jesus, we HAVE guards. We NEED bigs.

I think this is a very solid pickup. He along with Samari Curtis from Evansville contributed 25+ ppg last year.

Agreed. He is going to be great. We were actually super thin at Guard.

Yeah this guy looks pretty legit. Yes, we need a big but this guy strengthens the roster.

I think he probably starts at the 3rd Guard spot we had, but you are right we could really still use a C.

We have anywhere from 0 to 3 scholarships available.

I think a big and a Freshman is probably how you round out the roster. Someone who can start at the 5 in what will end up actually be a very veteran team. If they don't add someone Young and Turner will probably see a ton of minutes there.

Fields 6-2 Sr Fulcher 6-2 So
Metheny 5-11 So Curtis 6-4 SO XFER
Gordan 6-3 SR XFER Young 6-6 So
Plowden 6-6 SR Turner 6-7 Jr Kulackovskis 6-9 Sr (r)
Swingle 6-11 Jr (t) Etim 6-8 Fr

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2022-2023 Roster if all the seniors left. Only Plowden and Gordan will have to. Kulackovskis and Fields could come back.
Metheny 5-11 So
Curtis 6-4 SO XFER
Fulcher 6-2 So
Young 6-6 So Etim 6-8 Fr
Turner 6-7 Jr Swingle 6-11 Jr (t)

The more Division 1 level guys who can score the better. Keep the transfers coming. If he can guard somebody, even better. Still need a big guy, but these transfer guards are a roster upgrade. We saw how thin the roster got when either Turner or Plowden got the mandatory 1st half benching with 2 fouls.

Well hell, he's a better 3pt shooter than JT. I'll take his 31.5% to JT's 28% any time.

He only played in 10 games last year with 2 starts and yet he was the leading scorer. Anyone have an idea what happened?
Nagging injuries all year from what I've read.
