I came close to buying one of these sites last year. The price was in the high 4 figures and I wanted to pay 1/2 that. It's like owning the deck chairs on the Titanic.

However, a couple of Admins on this board might make it bearable. As an admin on the board I nearly bought, most people are good and there's a Foes list for people you want to ignore.

I never really had any issue with anyone here until 2-3 years ago when someone started making a total ass of themselves on purpose. That's when I found out I could put people on an ignore list

that list makes life better here. Now I don't even know what that person is saying unless someone quotes them.

It's a nice tool and all, but we definitely at least need someone who can confirm new accounts to keep this place alive. And someone who can ban people when they go too far, too often, would also be good.

To be clear, the person I blocked likely did not rise to the level of a ban. I just personally found it hard to open the site knowing their bullshit might be in the way. I have a much more pleasant experience here now.

I blame nobody who doesn't have, or choses not to spend multiple thousands of dollars to have a forum space to talk hoops. i have no idea what kind of revenue this place generates, but it doesn't matter because I could never DREAM of spending money that way.

It’s almost shocking Moose didn’t offer an extension after the Minnesota game. A game that if played this Saturday would have Minnesota favored by 30 again. A fluke for the ages. He would have staged a photo op near the W flag & the cheesy MAC pirate flag, and announced it all over social media. It would have gotten so many likes despite still being 5-17 at the time.

We should be able to make this a group thing. Enough long lasting bros in here that we could just have each of us click on an add every time we came in....I think that would boost revenue but truth be told I am an idiot and not sure if revenue is still made that way.
