Not gonna do it...wouldn't be prudent.
I'm with you. We could get a verbal from OJ Mayo and I wouldn't be that excited about it. I just cannot get excited for any newcomers until things get changed around for this program.

A top Willard Schools administrator told me guard J Langhurst had zero D 1 offers as of the end of March. Zero. Lots of D 2 offers and D 3 "deals" of course.

Heady, gutsy winner who can score in bunches, but.....

Go Falcons!

I've never been "in" to recruiting. Until they're on the floor wearing orange and brown in Anderson Arena, I couldn't care less.

I hope we get better.

We'll get one more commitment to finish with 13 scholarship players. Of the 12 scholarship players not named John Floyd, randomly remove 4 of them. Then, for when the season starts, pick any one of the 1+ remaining newcomers and figure that he'll start out in DD's doghouse for not being tough and buying into the program (or whatever) and assume that he won't see the court. That gets us down to our usual 8. This is how I'm setting my hopes and expectations for next year.

He's a 5' 9" kid who proved he can score in high school amongst division 3 or 4 players. He'd be a liability defensively against every point guard in the league...except Floyd. Would have trouble getting his own shot at the college D1 level. Would be terrific shooting threes if the other teams wouldn't guard him.

In short...I don't see him being the answer to our problems at point guard.

He sounds a lot like Brian Guerin....seems like a nice kid, but do we really need two of him?

If you will check the Subject "BRE Clements" you will see the two line-ups that I thought would be the team next year. As you see Phillips and Moon were not in either line-up. There are two more that either should leave or will leave.

Wait until you guys see Miller and Sullivan play! They are real real good

As far as Sims playing PG...why would you guys think that a kid who is not even the best player on his high school team, a team with two DI college players on it, that ended 16 and 8 in Class 2A ball ever be the answer at PG
for BG.

He averaged 18+ per game, 2.5 assits game and 3 rebounds per game. Also his Dad was the coach so he mostlikly set most plays around his kid.

It's on page 2 or 3 . . . basically he speculates that Clements and Moten won't be back. I can see one happening as a lot or rumors have swirled around his name, but I'm pretty sure both are in for the long haul at this point.
