Poquette and Roundfield were on the same team? Wow... CMU was loaded!

And H2O... those games in the CSB gym on the banks of the mighty Maumee were fun! I haven't been down River Road in years... is that building still standing? It could seat more than Anderson Arena, couldn't it?? ;-)

Yes it could but it was in a little better shape and it was more visually appealing. :-D On the other hand the entire cmpus has been torn down for a community of "mini-estates". No big loss I guess. A lot of pretty good ballers played over there though-we had ex-collegiates from UT,Tennessee, Detroit and many others including a guy who spent time on the Piston practice squad. Oh, yeah-and you and me!

You can't bring that weak ass stuff into this humpty-bumpty! You know the rule: correct spelling only. E-g-r-e-g-i-o-u-s-l-y. Or it's going to be a long day, h2oville rocket, a looonnngggg day.
Uh, excuse me. I don't remember seeing you at those games. Believe me, Grant's fouls were aggregious! ;-)

Sorry to the rest of you for turning this into a private dialogue between H2O and myself... but...

Wasn't there a UT women's hall-of-famer that played over lunch hours too? I remember dad saying she was the best player there! Excepting himself and you, I'm sure... ;-)

Kinda sad that all that was torn down, it is a neat location though, I can see how it would be nice for residential. I'll miss the water tower most of all! hahaha

Linda Janicki, my current next office door neighbor. She had no outside game and we pounded her unmercifully inside but she held a lot of UT records. We also had a UCSB star and three or four other women collegiates that played out there at one time or another. Some were very good, others were almost as bad as the rest of us.

Lucas County Children Services, where Grant's dad BGHoward and I worked, had an old gym when LCCS ran the Miami Children's Home. It was not quite one where the top of the foul circle touched the center court circle but came close. Three times a week for about 15 years we played lunchtime games there. Some participants were former UT footballers John Schneider,Brent Reed and Mike Sherman, ex-Scott hoopster Seaborn White, DeVillbis star Dean Thompson, UT HOF'r Linda Janicki, ex-Rocket track star (Ok ex-Rocket track mediocrity) me, Grant's dad, who played some fairly high level Service ball back in the day and others whose names are lost in the murky mists of time. Grant's dad was in personnel and almost hired David Grier at one time. I now feel a little better about hijacking the thread since I mentioned a former Falcon hoopster.
