BG Wins! If they come out of the locker room????
Here's how I understand it. Buffalo had the ball for the last shot in regulation. They shot, but missed the rim and BG got the rebound. The game clock expired and the team left the court. But apparently, there was a shot clock violation first and there was still just a little bit of time left. BG didn't come back, a T was called, Buffalo tied it, and now we're in OT.

The final possession for UB was :25 on the game clock and :24 on the shot clock following a Ub TO. We played some stellar Defense and force a shotclock violation. By rule the clock stops there...obviously still time should be left right?
Well, the clock operator did not stop the clock so it read 0:00. We immediately run to the locker room for some strange reason.
The refs take several minutes to review the screen and end up putting 0:00.6 seconds on the clock.
Our assistant runs into the lockerroom to get the team back out and it takes us at LEAST 5 minutes to get back out there.
When play resumes Idbihi is shooting 2 for a technical foul.
I think this is probably 50/50 whether it ever gets called, but it is a perfectly fair call. We acted like little children running off the court and refusing to return. It was obvious from the get go that there should be more time on the clock...no clue why we even left when the clock could NOT have run out before the violation.

Thanks for the info. But you see refs review this all the time, I can only wonder why we left before we knew for sure it was "officially " over.orangeandbrown wrote:From the way Todd described it, the clock did say 0:00. GO BG!!!
Thats EXACTLY how it happened according to Todd Walker. Buffalo missed the shot AND THE REFS CALLED THE GAME OVER so BG left the court. Then the dumba**es gather cause pu**yass Reggie is bitching and put .6 seconds on the clock and give BG a tech because the refs called the game. WE GOT FU**ED!! Call or email Rick Chyst's office right now! I'll Post it in a few.murph wrote:Here's how I understand it. Buffalo had the ball for the last shot in regulation. We made a cowardly move by running to hide in the lockerroom.OSUFALCON wrote:The buzzer had went off!!!!!!! Most would think the game is over! DD should have left an assistant coach on the floor. The Fu$king MAC Refs took a chicken shirt call here! Should have never happen! I'll bet DD doesn't have a post game interview.

If we grabbed the ball before the shot clock violation went off then the game clock could run out. Apparently, that was a possibility. What a cluster f***.UBfan wrote:hey guys...BG deserved the technical. here's why: why would you think the game could end on a shot clock violation!?!?!? if the shot clock is still ON...that means the game clock can't expire!!!!
lol ain't arguing any of your points there. just making my point. anyone thinking the game is over in that circumstance and then taking that much time to get back on the court deserves what they got.OSUFALCON wrote:Go back to your site! GO BULLS!
Reggie goes to the scorer table and pushes the buzzer himself several times while waiting for the Falcons to return to the court. DD is done! Resign now! This game wasn't pretty but a deserved win! Dam it!CrazyFan wrote:Thats EXACTLY how it happened according to Todd Walker. Buffalo missed the shot AND THE REFS CALLED THE GAME OVER so BG left the court.
