Falcon hoops is officially over for 2007. The last five posts in the hoops forum have been about the men's chorus. How long before posters start calling for the director's head?

Dr. William Skoog is untouchable. Nobody will EVER call for that man's head for as long as he's at BGSU.

Niz, the concert with ONU and KSU last year WAS a big success. I remember that the chorus was supposed to sit in the balcony, but Kobacker was completely sold out and we had to move into the rehearsal room. That was cool. And yes, Brothers Sing On was phenomenal. Personally I didn't care for a lot of the music that the Men's Chorus did that night, I can't remember if we did Love Flows or not, I hated that particular piece.

And yes, LOL about Zing Dem Herrn not being in tune. We never did quite get that right in 2005-06.

I remember when we did Sing Dem Herrn in high school. We did a SATB arrangement, and the bass ending was always a little "Eh?"

I can't imagine what the music building would be like without Skoog, nor do I want to.
