We were able to consistently get buckets down the stretch to maintain our lead! We never faltered!

6 TO's for the game. 1 in the 1st half. Incredible!

And Belmont beat Western Carolina 79-70. So, since BG and Belmont are both 2-1, we win this tournament since we beat them head to head. Right?

Yep
BG- beat Belmont and UC lost to WC (2-1)
Belmont- beat WC and UC lost to BG (2-1)
UC- beat WC lost to BG and Belmont (1-2)
WC- Beat BG lost to UC and Belmont (1-2)

Congrats to the Falcons! There are few things I like more than seeing Cincinnati lose, and seeing them lose to a fellow MAC school was an extra bonus.

Crap. I went into the feed room at work, and the end of the postgame show was pulled up on one of the satellites. I don't know how long they had it going for, but if I could have used my TV powers to watch this game and missed out, I'll be sad.

The brown unis continue to kick major ass, however.

That was our first ever win over Cincinnati in men's hoops. We were 0-7 all-time before tonight's win.

This simply doesn't happen last year under DD I believe. We kept up the scoring to maintain the lead for the most part. OP fouled out but Larson didn't and CK goes for 24 pts & 8 rebs. and we got some more scoring from JJ as well. I'm juiced for falcon men's basketball again!

Tonight was awesome, I know UC isn't the same as it once was and I don't care. I loved walking into an arena I had been in so many times before in all orange and cheering for BG. We did what we needed to do to win, and I agree with whoever said this wouldn't have happened last year.

Now its time for the home opener, BEAT MOREHEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! state

I went to the game last night and it was a lot of fun. I had a BG hat and sweatshirt on and everybody was nice and cool to me, though the place was well over half empty. And it's hard to beat beer at the game.

BG looked good. We were out-rebounded but Coach Orr made the decision to switch to a zone and that may have contributed to that. The zone was the right call however as it forced UC to hit from outside and that didn't happen.

Knight and Miller looked great and a lot of guys looked really good. It was a good road win. We had a chance to blow it at the end but we didn't.

GO BG!!
