I think it's a good matchup competition-wise, so I can't complain there, but I'm with the others that were pulling for something outside our traditional scheduling "footprint".

I agree, like Warthog I also would have liked to see a "fresh" opponent, but hey I'll take what we can get, rather play someone out of state then another Ohio school. As Coach Orr continues to build the program, the chances of getting a newer, fresher opponent in this event increasesTG1996 wrote:I think it's a good matchup competition-wise, so I can't complain there, but I'm with the others that were pulling for something outside our traditional scheduling "footprint".

Don't forget too, this is additional exposure to the talent rich metro Detroit area. That will only help with additional recruiting as we go forward. Obviously, Coach Stone already has established himself there. Coach Orr will showcase his style to more people. I feel that UDM is a good opponent and for us a winnable game. At this point in the season, it's all about momentum. If we can continue to get some wins, that will improve the team's morale and they will make some noise in the MAC tournament!
