I'll take whoever can come in be aggressive, crash the boards, take up space and put fear in the heart of those who dare enter the paint! :D

JD Weatherspoon is a nice target. He's at Northland, I believe, with the Sullinger kid and only a junior I think. 6'6" long and athletic but he is already committed to Xavier

I really would rather we use any extra schollie we have on a good offensively talented big man rather than another guard/small forward, but I'd take Goodsen if he's that good. I think our lack of offensive production from the paint is what is keeping BG behind most of the all the top Mac teams right now. Most of all the top Mac teams present or past have had good offensive big men. OU had Tillman , CMU had Kamen a while back and I can't think of the names of a few others but OU had a pretty good inside guy about 5 or 6 years ago.

Notice I did NOT say 6'11 or 7'0 big men, I just said offensively talented big men, which can come in 6'8 ,6'9 frames. Our problem is simply we have no inside presence that has to be accounted for each and every game. Polk and Larson are really no offensive threat outside of putbacks. They can't create anything in the post whatsoever. All our offense comes from is outside shooters and that will only get you so far and we're seeing the results of that IMO.

I am going to have to disrespectfully disagree with you on this. Most of the best MAC teams of recent times have been loaded with quick athletic guards. And when I say loaded I mean 5 guys who are basically interchangeable.

2010 is ripe to grab a big man or two from the 3* range.

Want to play tomorrow, check
Want to play for a former NBA big man, check
Want to run the floor with a veteran group of guards, check

Sorry for the confusion...the teams listed are just teams that are interested.

Gary Trent?
Leon Williams?

Trent's been retired from the NBA for five years. Probably Williams.
