Did anyone else think Steve Mix was absolutley horrible as a color commentator? Very negative about anything and everything.

A very nice win for the guys. B-Mo hit some big shots, OP did a great job on the offensive glass, Miller was steady, and Clements made some plays. The defense was stellar, as we've come to expect.

The way the first 10-15 minutes went it was a great job by the team to come away with a win today. Just a huge road win for them.

It was pretty rough watching the first 15 min...the Akron fans (the students known as the Rowdies) were giving the BG bench a lotta crap during that time.

The look on their faces at the end? Simply priceless. That fat dude with the headband and shades is the worst...and the best one to point "scoreboard" when it's over.

THANK YOU! I am glad I was not the only person who thought that as well. I am biased, but he did not do a great job in my opinion

Dang, had I known that this game was today and at noon I woulda hightailed it out of church faster back to my friends house to watch the game on FSN. I can't believe we had both our women's and men's teams games both being broadcast a day apart. When has that happened. Great to hear of the win. Wish I coulda seen it. This team keeps surprising me, they are showing big time in some games I didn't think we had a chance to win without Knight playing. Any word on when he can return?

Mix is a Toledo grad... did you honestly think he would praise us???

What a win... just when I thought Akron was going to slip away with one they didn't deserve, our D just tightened up.

I believe we won a share of MAC east today. Is that accurate.

And we have a guaranteed first round bye?

Andrew Harner, thank you for writing that asinine opinion column of yours, because it clearly showed just how downtrodden and wrong people were about this team.

GO BG! WIN THE MAC!!!
Exactly. I've gotta give credit to the people who, even after the Savannah St, Central Arkansas, and Illinois State losses, kept the faith. They said we would be fine, and they were right. I never would have believed them but at least I didn't go spouting off about how bad I thought we were. I would look like an idiot now wouldn't I? :-D

No, we are still tied with Buffalo (yes, we do have the tiebreaker though). But with two games left, we have not yet secured part of the East title, or even a first round bye (remember, the winner of the West will back into being the 2 seed). The tiebreakers on the Men's side are very tricky unlike on the Women's end where they make more sense. I believe we have secured at worst the 5 seed in the tournament. If we beat Miami, we will have secured a bye in the first round, and a win vs. Miami combined with a Buffalo loss will secure us at least a share of the East title....let's keep the ball rolling!!

Ahhhh. Road sweet road. If I heard correctly (and I'm reasonably sober), SIX straight road wins!? Longets since Kent in 2002?

Just guts! If nothing else this team is tough. TOUGH! (doing the "Cabbage Patch").

Got the tickets... 12 & 13 off...

Be there for the men's and women's.

AZZ!!!!

This is the Falcons’ longest road winning streak since 1948-49.

Way to hag tough today! They could have packed it in early on. A win at Miami will seal a first round bye. Go falcons! When is the last time both a men's and women's team won the league title the same year?

it is totally up to to the team, depends on what team they fill like being.

Anyone going besides the parents and the usual 3 of that go to all the games?
To answer my question if anyone is going...
IT was great to see so many BG fans cheering and yelling! I been to many away games this year and sometimes there was about 10 of us and that was sad!
Let's hope a good crowd at miami thursday.. i'll be there

Great win today men! It felt awesome to witness that win and to chant number 1.. let's keep winning so we can continue the number 1 chant!
Go Falcons!
