When I was in college, he called SEVERAL BG games. I ran into him at Franklin Park mall one day and he recognized me as the bass player and made a guitar gesture to me as he walked passed. :-)

And it's his job to make the color guy sound valid. Steve mix doesn't have a lot of personality, so Reg has to make up for that.

I love that he's calling these games! Rise up, Reghi!
Wait, you were still in school when Reghi started calling games? I find it odd that you have a gray set of hair and somehow he is jet black.

If Reghi still had his original hair, it would probably be gray. :)

I still remember when he took the two week or four week or whatever it was sabbatical while at channel 13 and come back with a full head of hair.

There are those that don't like Mike, and I can understand it. However, the conference has no better friend in the media than Reghi. He is willing and happy to talk about the MAC during his daily show on WKNR. It's a platform we have not had before.

Funny story. We were at the bars downtown after the Akron game last night, and the UConn/Syracuse game is on. Who comes in? Reghi. He's a few feet away from me in the sixth overtime. When 'Cuse goes up 5, the whole bar hears Reghi exclaim, "Syracuse, starting to take over!" The man can't help himself.
