i think you should try out for the team! I bet we wouldn't lose a game!Falconboy wrote:From some of these posts it sounds as if its forgone that CK is gone too? Is this true? If so I guess we can chalk up next season to be in the clunker for sure. I mean where the hell are we gonna get major scoring from? Joe Jak? Marschall? OP or giraffe boy? Seriously we don't have much ammo for next season. I guess we were about to take a major down year in hopes Orr can strike gold somewhere in the recruiting circles for seasons after.

Yeah, I'm over it now. I should learn not to get too excited over any one BG sports team regardless the assumed expectations.BleedOrange wrote:Falconboy, BGSU33,

who said u had to stop getting excited? The season is months from starting. If the team just went from good to bad because of two players then that is not really a team. The rest of the players will know they have to go on without them and I am sure they can. I have faith in this team.Falconboy wrote:Yeah, I'm over it now. We've played exactly 0 minutes of basketball that counts. The season cannot be over already if it hasn't even begun.

Re: TRANSFER TRANSFERS
Maybe he transferred for other reasons than wanting to be close to home...just saying. My point is, he's gone, we never saw him play, so why care? We have an open scholarship now and I'm sure Coach Orr will fill it before the season starts.HoopsFan wrote:losing Graves to someplace in KY is no loss. The only thing that makes you wonder is "what was the boy thinkin'? Cincy to BG is about 3 hours and 182 miles last time I checked. Cincy to Williamsburg is about 195 miles. I guess close to home is relative.
If not, I liked the earlier post about falconboy playing on the team. I assume he'd come out of the locker room at halftime just when the guys are tired and need a boost!

I want to be a pimp, but do I really want to do it in my hometown of Mt. Gilead, OH? Not really.

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Yeah, you should probably stop. All of us already don't like you, no reason to have the teams your cheering for feel the same.Falconboy wrote: AKA, Marc Larson.
