I agree that shooting 11 of 24 is poor. However, adversity happens in EVERY game. If it isn't foul shooting, it'll be something else that didn't go well. I am more impressed we didn't quit and won on the road against a hot team, supposedly one that is playing their best basketball in 5 years [according to Buffalo papers]. This is not a good win, but a GREAT win. We are playing very, very well right now.

I apologize to all if I am coming across as too sensitive. I just like talking about what we did well. And your right, this is a GREAT board…

Great to get a win tonight! Especially to get a close one to go our way, and more importantly, a road win in the MAC opener!!! Great efforts tonight from the team, especially from Calhoun, McElroy, Thomas and Black. Let's keep this thing rolling now. It seems as though these guys could finally be getting things going. The next four are all against MAC East foes and all are very important games for us. GO BG!!!!

This team has been "getting it together" the past few weeks. Should the foul shooting come around, . . . it could be a very sweet season.

Neither Henderson nor Roberts played in this one.

Man, this was a great win. UB was 8-4 coming into the game, with all 4 losses as close games, except for YSU, including an 8 point loss to BYU, who was top 20 at the time. Defense stepped it up, shooting has improved so much from that terrible start. Not to sound like a broken MP3, but better free throw shooting would have made this an easy win. Improve that free throw shooting, and if the team stays hot, I can't help but think they are going to be a serious MAC East contender. I can't say I was too excited about the team last year, but this year, given how they've played the past few weeks, I am as excited as I was in the 08-09 season. There is so much drive in this team, so much passion to win, kind of like what we saw with Miller / Moten / Clements. Go Falcons!

Looking forward going to down to Kent State on Tuesday night and see them in person.

Siborg was not seeing things though. ESPN boxscore showed Wiley with 2 points and Henderson with playing time approximately 1 hour after the game's conclusion.

I'm glad I was wrong. Seemed odd to burn the redshirt this late. ESPN mis-information strikes again.

I looked at the boxscore as shown on bgsufalcons.com......No Henderson OR Roberts show up there...Where did you see this?
