Call me crazy but I like Reghi. Mix and his marble-filled mouth gets annoying but I've always liked Reghi. From his "Bowling Green BEATS Toledo" call of the Whiteman buzzerbeater, to him calling "Flight 24 is ready for take off" for Joe Moore I dig the guy. Maybe it is because I "grew up" with him on WTVG in those impressionable years. . .

When I listen to his radio show, I keep waiting on him to call someone 'paison'. He sounds so Jersey on the radio.

I love Torian Oglesby. He's a raw player...not much with the ball in his hands, really. But he moves well without it, plays good defense, and is decent on the boards. Most importantly, when he gets the ball near the basket he is looking to run people over and throw it DOWN. For years I've watched BG guys be way too tentative around the rim and miss shots because of it. So nice to see somebody with the athleticism and mindset to ATTACK the rim.

Great game from Calhoun...nice to see him actually make a couple key passes as well as score. Hit the glass hard too.

JoJak had his best game all year tonight, some big time 3s from him.

All around the game was closer than I thought it probably should have been, but a win on the road in the MAC is a good win. I'll gladly take it. Even when UT tied it, I always felt that BG would win.

BlackElroy will really benefit from this. If either of them learn to play with his tenacity they will be very good. I think both are better basketball players but Oglesby is 4X as aggressive.

And the last two Brown free throws moves them to 9-1 in their last 10 games against the spread, if calculations are correct. :D

hammb, I agree on Oglesby : "Most importantly, when he gets the ball near the basket he is looking to run people over and throw it DOWN."

We are not a perfect team, but playing aggressive like we do overcomes alot. I don't recall any BG team in decades [maybe the Stacey, Keith McLeod, Len Matela teams] attacking the rim and looking to dunk like this team. After a quick scan of the play by play stats, I think 5 more dunks tonight. We play hard and I respect that more than any other characteristic a team can have.

I must admit after the Duquesne game I thought there was trouble brewing, but a lot of credit goes to the players and the coaching staff for getting on the right track.

+1,000,000. I love seeing MAC hoops on STO but for the love of Harold Anderson, find another play by play man. Reghi knows his stuff but never shuts up and is annoying beyond belief. Mix slobbering all over ut (Which isn't surprising) was pissy as well. Ugh. Sooo glad BG won....4 straight over the scuds.

Gutsy win by the Falcons tonight...love beating tsun! :supz:

I've been going to and watching BG games since 1997 and this is the first time I've seen BG with a truly athletic dunker like Oglesby. The only other time was maybe Trent Jackson, but he doesn't come close to Oglesby with athleticism. We really do have an athletic front court with Calhoun and Oglesby, which is drawing me back to this team. This is the most excited I've been about the BG mens team in a while.
