Agreed. Clarke looks fearless but 25 min for Kraus? Can't figure that one out.

There were some really questionable plays made early in the second half. Surprisingly disappointing.

Clarke was outstanding, I thought.

I like the effort we put forward, but down 10 with the ball and you have Orr, Kraus in the back court and Thomas, Black, Ogs, Crawford, Calhoun on the beach. Put in your best 5 and give it one final run. MSU is not a very good free throw shooting team. Clarke needs to play more than Kraus.

Clarke needs to play more than Kraus AND Brown.

Orr should be playing ahead of Brown as well.

Even in the first half when BG was really getting it done, Brown provided nothing. Nothing. Can anybody please explain why Brown sees the floor? Anybody?

LaMonta Stone just said on the post game show that they are looking at either Dec. 5 or Dec. 19, both of which are Wednesdays.

Fingers crossed for the 19th for me. I'll have the week before Christmas off and would gladly make the trip from Chicago to see that one.

I just finished the game. He had Henderson and Erger in...along with I think Oglesby and Sealy and Clark...all backups. Down 10 with 4 minutes to go. Thomas barely played the second half along with Crawford and Calhoun. It was baffling.

My thoughts
  • What in the world were they doing with a lineup of all backups with 4 minutes to go down 10. Benching all your vets for so long in a game that got pretty tite might just cause a mutiny.
Clarke looked amazing, like he should have been playing more all year. He should get the start next to Crawford next game. He was the only one to take the ball hard to the hole, the rest of our guys are passive.
At times we had the worse shot selection that I have ever seen. What were they thinking. We looked awful to start the second half.
This team can compete with anyone in the MAC and if they keep Clarke happy should be a solid team until he graduates.

If we want a sellout we need this game on Dec 5. Student will already be gone Dec 19. The local townies will not sell out the game especially is Dustin and the Tin Soldiers are around.

I thought it was a good first half. I think in the second half the starters were not getting it done, so coach put the bench in. Even when the lead was cut to 10 with 4 minutes left I felt like we were just treading water. Starters weren't going to make a comeback.

Clark needs more PT right away. Sorry Krauss, your effort is not in question, but Clark delivers.

Calhoun is better and better every time I see him.

Tons of compliments from the BTN announcers about the improvement this team has made in the past year. I think they were sincere. I am pretty excited about this team, but the MAC east looks brutal this year.. Anyway, glad I could catch the game on tv last night!

I was thinking in somewhat the same lines, but I wasn't thinking about Dustin or security. If the game is Dec. 5, we'll have students in the students' section, and there will be a loud buzz in the arena. If it's Dec. 19, we may get 20 students that have apartments in town. This game must happen when the students are in town.

Clark is exactly what we need in a shooting guard and his aggressiveness will help the entire team. Can also backup the point as well which is awesome. Kraus is a very nice complimentary player because he does all the little things well. Great backup but not a game changer.
