Frustrating game to watch for sure. Especially since the people hitting the shots for Buffalo were people who don't normally hit shots. Crawford's up-and-down game trend continues...

You would think Crawford would have learned the three other times that he was blocked not to take it against a 6'11 guy. The guy has 16 inches on him!!!!!! He would been better to take a 15 ft jumper!!!!! But what I dont get, is how can AC go without touching the ball each of the last four possessions. Nothing against Black, but you have to put the ball in AC hands.

BG starting guards went 4 for 20 (20%) from the field. with 5 TOs and 9 assists. Guard play is killing us. Not sure why Black and Crawford took the last two shots for BG?

So guys,
I'm assuming we LOST the game....what was the final score? Who DID lead BG in Pts., rebounds etc.?

UB has now knocked off at least 3 of the East in the 1st go around...but too bad we had to lose it at home.

Black looked scared shooting the ball and his misses were bad, it was like he was holding a hot potato and couldn't get it out of his hand fast enough. He's 6-10 and makes himself small on offense, he almost leans in on his shots and shoots what looks almost sidearmed at times. His best offense is cleaning up garbage and getting tips to go, and we need more. He's slow, has no post moves and is soft. We didn't "steal" him from Kent or Akron, there's a reason we have him and they don't. Brown struggled again with the outside jumper - he had some wide open looks and couldn't hit any of them. I like Crawford's decision to drive with no time, but would rather have Calhoun or Thomas taking that shot but time was running out. Bottom line is, that last shot didn't lose the game for us, we did throughout the game. We had a seven-point lead in the second half on our home floor and instead of building on it, we watched it turn into an eight-point hole. We fought back, and even took the lead, but we couldn't finish - and that's what good teams do and why we're losing these kind of games and have losing records overall and in the conference.

We lost 68-66 and had an opportunity at the end but Crawford had a lay-up blocked for about the third straight time. Calhoun was the stud today...29 pts and 8 rebs.

Actually he had 4 blocks, 3 prior and also one bad layup attempt, so technically he missed 5 layups. Because of the short clock at the end he didn't have a chance to look for anyone to pass too but I still think he would been better settling for his runner or a 15 ft jump shot. Another game we let slip away, just like Akron

Wow, nice loss at home. Nice 2000K in attendance.

This team is going nowhere. Our guard play continues to suck, yet our young guards don't see the floor. We're looking at yet another throw-away season for BG basketball.

Coach Stone pretty much threw Crawford under the bus in the post game interview, saying that the last play was not designed to go to Black, but to either of the wings, although he did say he was open with a guard guardin g him, but Crawford should hav egone to either Brown or Thomas.
I cannot believe our freshman PG never saw the floor in this game!

What was up with that? And whats the deal with Sealy getting no minutes. Sealy is one of our best 5.

I think "his responsibility" is the correct terminology! :butthead:

Sealy played in the first half, and he was AWFUL. Turnovers and had a few back to back bad possessions and missed shot. I have no problem with him not playing in the second half. I do have a problem with Erger playing over Clarke and Henderson. Who says when Thomas or Calhoun comes out that you need to bring in Erger. Either go with a 3 guard lineup or go bigger.

The one bright spot about a loss: more room to move around on the bandwagon. :partyman:

I personally enjoyed to child porn demonstration at halftime. It's no wonder out society is an abomination. If I had a daughter, there is no way I would let her at 10 years old dress like a whore and gyrate sexually in the name of dance. Disgusting.

Oh, Calhoun had a nice game. We just couldn't get the rebounds on the defensive end. It was like the ball was greasy.
