What do you expect? Providing juice-boxes to all the players costs money.

Man, I can't believe all the whining over us going to this game.

Yes, I agree it's a nothing tournament that means very little in the grand scheme of things. Yes, I would like to see Coach Orr dismissed because a CIT bid with this squad is pretty bad given how long he's been here.

Still, I don't think he was going anywhere anyhow, no matter what we all want. And if he was going to the tournament will have no bearing on that. I'm happy for our team to get to keep playing, regardless of whether or not it's a prestigious tournament. I hope they do well and win the damn thing.

If Weber State doesn't win this, there should be a federal investigation. That said, according to the tournament's official site, matchups will be based on the results of the previous round, ie . . . we have the option of re-seeding so that we give ourselves as much of a chance at possible of getting the game "we(CBI)" want
" want.

I was wrong about the money.

The CollegeInsder.com tournament had a $31,500 fee.

The CBI's fee was $60,000 in 2010, to participate.

The fact that Weber State didn't get selected for the NIT blows my mind. One of the best point guards in the country and a team that draws really well and their last few years have been decent IIRC. Shouldn't surprise me but still I bet the fans in Ogden are really disappointed.

Attended more games than any responsible student should have.

It's a chance to keep playing, no matter how disappointing the season was. And it was disappointing...

Wow. Listening to Coach Orr's presser. Where's the tap dance music?

While Weber State is good, there are several teams in the CIT that have much more impressive wins than does Weber State and that have beaten teams better than Weber State.

The only drama left in this game is to see if Louis Orr can ruin his "good season" and finish .500. He was asked if the young guys might get more playing time, and he said it depends on how the game goes. I think that means the usual first sub comes in around the 12 minute mark of the 1st half, soon after the other team has made a run due to all of BG's starters being tired, and Cam Black looking like he needs oxygen. Can't wait for BG's first postseason win of my lifetime tonight. LOL
