2 assists 13 turnovers. Just atrocious guard play
But they are just so talented though. Who could have seen low percentage shooting and bad assist to turnover numbers coming from these guys?

Atleast in clark and Tisdale the talent is obvious. Wether or not it will translate hat is a different question. I think this team could be .500 in the Mac.

Stop your ridiculous tone.

I will stop my ridiculous tone if you answer this question. If Clarke is an "obviously" talented guard who can't make FT's, can't shoot 3's, doesn't get assists, and is turn over prone; WHAT IS HIS TALENT? Please don't say beating his man to the basket because it is not resulting in baskets or assists, mostly just forced shots.

The kid scored 17-17 and 15 in the firs three games and you are telling me he can't play. Where is he getting all his points if he can't score at the basket and can't shoot. Tonight was an awful night and I won't argue that he is raw but he is exceptionally athletic and getting to the basket is something that plenty of our guards and Mac guards can't do. He is solid on d and I think he is pretty good finishing around he basket although I would love to re- evaluate that because so many I respect here have said recently he can't. I'm agreeing more and more with flip that we need to get another guy at the one though.

I will just throw you on ignore with redskinsforecer And gmartin. No point of dealing with a holes on the board. Plenty of great peeps here

He scores points because he takes a lot of shots, more than any other player. He shoots at a bad percentage because he is not a good shooter. His team will not win games due to this (and other reasons). You should not be upset that someone is telling you this on a basketball message board. Who was that smart fellow that was mad when someone disagreed with him that Otis Polk was an NBA guy?

One talent Clarke has is getting steals. At one point he led the league. However, it's good to remember that getting to the basket is waaaaaayyyyy easier than it has been. Both Kent and Toledo have won 100-90 games in the last two days. That's largely due to easier penetration.

Penetration has always been easier at UT and Kent....
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

The worst part of all, is that Gomez might actually be the best shooter dressed right now.

The only penetration happening during a BG game is the anal screwing the fans are taking.

I don't want to bash our guys, but you have to look at more than scoring. In the USF game, Clarke did score 17 but it took him 24 shots to do it. That kind of inefficiency does not help a team win. In my view, his talent has been obvious on occasion but I have rarely seen him turn it into productive play. Would love to see him do it.

Are you saying that because of the new focus on calling fouls?
