62-55
Was a great game. Got to go back with my dad and he got to show my nephew some of the old pictures of the team he played with. Good times.
As far as the game. Looked ok to start then didn't score for a very long time in the first.
Individual thoughts.
1. Holmes is a stud. His offensive game has really improved and he has a some really nice moves down there.
2. Parker got into foul trouble but was ok in his limited minutes. Need him to avoid that.
3. Hendo had a nice tipback but didn't standout much otherwise.
4. Orr started again and played just 13 minutes
5. Joseph was steady at the point again even though he didn't score.
6. Denny is a stud. 9 pts a bunch of rebounds again and a great steal to finish the game. He was guarding a guy about 4 inches bigger then him who was trying to post him up. They tried to feed him and he took the ball. He is aggressive and shifty around the basket.
7. Austin was solid again. He is quick with his first step.
8. Mayleben will be a solid backup to Holmes and give him ten minutes to breathe a game.
9. I don't know what to think of Dickerson. There isn't anything not to like but I can't tell what kind of basketball player he is. Feels a bit like Germain Fitch where he doesn't have a great shot but is a great athlete and does everything well from the guts side of the ball.
10, Clarke didn't stand out either way.
11. Tisdale, hard to think he was our 7th man lat year and now he i the 11th.
Great to be 3-0
Anthony Stacey was in the house.
