That was awesome.

Thanks to ESPN3 choosing to reboot or what ever you call it during the last timeout, I missed the last 2.5 seconds!
Tell me about the final play!

Re: Bg v Detroit
BG throws the ball inbounds to 3/4 court. Ball tipped out of bounds. Should have been 1.7 seconds after replay but officials put clock at 2.2. After Detroit guarded the inbounds sidelines pass BG forced to call last time out. After timeout BG inbounds pass to the top of the key to Holmes. He spins around the defender, without using a hook, takes two big steps and dribbles and kisses a layup off the board for the win as the horn sounds.

Never thought I'd say this but I'm more excited for the basketball program than football. Although slightly concerned that if Holmes didn't have such a big day, we lose by twenty. Either way, bring on WKU!! 4-0 go Falcons!!

Looking forward to a game featuring Alabama A&M. In years past we would complain about the quality of the opponent but this year I just want to see our Falcons play. It may not be a MAC championship year but it will be an interesting journey. If this team can continue to compete night in and night out with some wins like this along the way I will be thrilled. Keep it going Falcons!
I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.

The lack of defined roles and scoring is noticeable. But I think this is something that will develop as the year goes. Jans started with a plan and is sticking to it.

Can I get a "HELL YES" for this team!?!? This team is tough and strong willed. Something special in the making. Enjoy the ride Falcon Nation.
PS - I really enjoyed seeing #2 Howard Jr given a serving of humble pie. Gratned - the kid is VERY talented, but don't care for how cocky he is....
