I disagree. He is a stud athlete by almost any measure. I won't be surprised at all if he is in Europe or the d league or the nba next year. He will with little question be on a summer league team this year and we will see then. The nba is full of misfit bodies. You just have to find a way. He seems incredibly coach able. People will love that for the end of the bench.

Agree to disagree I guess, but I don't think the NBA gives him more than a cursory, 'yep we've heard of him' type thing.

I can't see any team putting him on their D-League or Summer League. I checked real quick and Chad Ford doesn't have him listed in his top 100 prospects (remember the draft is only 60 players). I cannot find anything that lists him as an actual NBA prospect.

With that, I'm done with this conversation the same as I am with NFL prospect discussions. I love Holmes and I cannot remember the last player I've enjoyed watching this much in his BG career. For that reason I'm not going to sit here and badmouth him the way an NBA scout would. I hope he proves me wrong, but I just don't see it.

He's never going to get drafted with the draft only being two rounds and about 1/2 of those spots going to foreign players. He'll have to bulk up and work his ass off and improve his outside jump shot to have any hope of seeing an NBA roster.

He's a very good college player in a competitive ,mid major conference. In and of itself that's a hell of an accomplishment. I don't see enough there to warrant a team "developing " him when there are guys who are closer to being finished products out there literally every year.

He won't get drafted but the summer league teams are full of guys who don't get drafted. You get almost 3 blocks a game and shoot above 40% in from 3 you are going to get a look.
