Holmes did not make the trip. I didn't hear anything, but Todd Walker announced it on the pregame.

Damn! I wonder if this has anything to do with his injury or something more? Just made this game much harder to win.HoopsFan wrote:Holmes did not make the trip. I didn't hear anything, but Todd Walker announced it on the pregame.

BG way out of rhythm. Gomez and Lyshe started, SFU getting offensive boards like UB did and already nailed a few threes like everyone does on us now, and BG down 12-4. We look bad right now.

It appears Jans is using this game to reward the hard work put in by the team. I think he wants to win but it's apparent letting the reserves play is more important. Starting Lyshe and Mayleben first off the bench is a clear sign of this. Now Tisdale in the game. Maybe Holmes was told he would have limited p.t. and he thought it was best to stay home and tend to his injuries.

BG now on a 17-3 run

WTH is Mayleben doing out there??? He looks completely lost like it's his first game. Kid from SFU drives the paint and Mayleben is backing his way out towards the foul line. His man, the center, goes to the hoop, gathers the rebound and sticks it back in while Mayleben is standing 10 feet away by himself. Get your ass in there and defend/rebound! Come on man

SFU hits - you guessed it - a three to close the half, BG down 33-30. BG didn't attempt a single free throw attempt. No presence on the middle offensively or defensively whatsoever. If we could combine Gomez and Mayleben we'd still only have half of a player. We are screwed at the 5 next year.

Mayleben has a decent outside stroke.

Nope. If he's there he hasn't stepped foot on the court. Feed isn't clear enough to see if he's on the bench.60yearsofsicsic wrote:Dickerson?
