In the kitchen I have a under-counter radio and 1230 is what I can get on that. In the bedroom I use our clock radio, which is staticky on all channels, but I can get 1230, 99.1, and 107.7 in there a little bit. Last night I listened mostly in my sons' room and used their boombox. 1230 and 107.7 come in really good on it. That works out ok though since then I get to play on thier gamecube while listening to the games. :D

It is true that you can hear the 88.1 webcast for men's games, but we do not broadcast the full men's schedule, because we are not flagship (we didn't do the Marshall game last night, I.E.) We are flagship for hockey and wbball, you can hear all those games on the wbgu webcast. If anyone wants to know ahead of time if 88.1 is carrying the men's game, feel free to check with me. Unlike the real one webcast through the athletics website, wbgu's is free.

I guess my main gripe is having a "network" that is so wishy-washy. If 99.1 was going to carry every game, I would have no complaints. Conversely, if they were going to carry NO games, I'd have no complaints because I'd know that I'd have to find an alternate location for game night. It's expecting to hear the game on 99.1 and instead getting Madonna singing "Lucky Star" when I turn it on for the pre-game show that really honks my horn!

Heck, even if I had a matrix of what stations would be carrying what games, I'd be satisfied... maybe it exists...it shouldn't have to, but if it does, please make it public!!

Star light, star bright...first star I see tonight....

I never did care much for Madonna, even if she is from my hometown of Bay City, MI.

That was actually Artie Pepela singing that as part of the pre-game show.

I think Lucky Star would make great bumper music to use going in and out of breaks. Shoot, the whole Madonna catalor could be used with the best being (in no particular order):

1. Into the Groove
2. Dress You Up
3. Holiday
4. Express Yourself
5. Justify My Love
6. Vogue
7. Erotica
8. Hanky Panky
7. Beautiful Stranger
8. Ray of Light
9. Music
10. Like a Virgin

Someone please stop me. I'm beginning to scare myself.

When you say everything, does that include Women's, Men's hoops and hockey?

I've had major problems getting my sports pass to work the last few games I've tried to listen. Never had any problems before but lately it has been a bear. And their tech support has been non existent.

If I can listen to WBGU, I'll do it!
I believe BGRSO broadcasts Mens and Womens hoops, as well as hockey. When I went there (not so many years ago), they did all home and away games. I belive they still do. All the games are carried on 88.1 WBGU unless they conflict with another (rare) and then they are on WFAL (the campus AM station). I *believe* that all WBGU games are broadcast online from that URL I posted. However, I just went there and got just static. Unsure if WBGU broadcasts all the time online or just during games.

I have used WBGU's online streaming during football season, haven't tried it lately. Of course, College Sports Pass has been working fine for me.

HTH,
Chris

When did this happen? When I went there BGRSO did *all* the football, mens and women's basketball, and hockey games. Did something change?

When you went there, the staff of BGRSO was much, much better and could handle anything you threw at them.

Rats! I've been found out! It was that "smart and attractive" thing, wasn't it? That gets me everytime.

I've been pretty good. Yourself?
