BG vs WMU
Re: BG vs WMU
Basketball at BGSU has collapsed. Can't shoot, can't rebound, can't make foul shots, can't pass, can't defend and no leadership. Will BGSU win another basketball game this year?
Re: BG vs WMU
Not that it affected the outcome but when Western was assessed a technical I think it would been beneficial to leave Parker at the line to shoot the technical free throws. He was just at the line for the personal foul and made 1 out of 2. I would have left him at the line to shoot the 2 technical shots. Huger decided to have Ali shoot the free throws even after he bricked a free throw a short time earlier.

This was lost at the free throw line. And with 6 misses on the front end of 1-and-1's, that was 23 points we gave away.gmartin wrote:BG was 15-32 from the line, with 6 misses on the front end off the 1 and 1. How can you miss 17 free throws.
START making free throws.
STOP throwing up the threes.
I saw some nice passing this afternoon - it's too bad it was done by the guys in black.

IMO that was our last chance at a win. But who knows, maybe we'll somehow accidentally win one more. Either way this is shaping up to be one of the worst finishing stretches to a season at BG in who knows how long. To think this disfunctional unit has won 13 games this year is almost unimaginable now, as they simply can't even win one game now to save their lives.GB68 wrote:Basketball at BGSU has collapsed.
